TSD Names Brigitte Mutter as Director of Assessment and Evaluation

Brigitte Mutter, who is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Research and Assessment for Boulder Valley School District (BVSD) in Boulder, Colo., has been selected as Thompson School District’s Director of Assessment and Evaluation. Ms. Mutter will begin her new role on July 1 and will direct and manage the district’s comprehensive data and information system.

In addition to her current position, Ms. Mutter has also served in other roles while in BVSD, including work as an Evaluation and Data Specialist, Senior Research Analyst, and Research and Survey Manager.  She has been in her current job since 2007.  She began her career in education serving as an Assessment and Evaluation Specialist and Data Analyst for Cherry Creek School District in Greenwood Village, Colo.

“I’m thrilled to join Thompson School District’s Learning Services team this July as the Director of Assessment and Evaluation and meet school leaders and educators when they return from a well-deserved summer break,” Mutter said. “My work passions are driven by collaboration and priorities focused on student growth as well as culture and climate, leveraging data to drive decisions at every level of the organization. I’m excited for this opportunity and look forward to building new relationships.”

Ms. Mutter earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill., and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
