TSD Names Nancy Ingalls as Director of Special Education

April 28, 2021 - Thompson School District announced today that it has named Nancy Ingalls as Director of Special Education. In the position, which is the result of a recent reorganization within the Student Support Services department, Ms. Ingalls will provide leadership, management, supervision, evaluation, coordination and direction of all special education programs and services for students with disabilities ages 3 to 21.

Ms. Ingalls is currently serving as the Personalized Learning Officer for Douglas County School District in Castle Rock, Colo. where she manages the district’s personalized learning and psychological safety programs for students.  Her prior roles in the district include service as a dean of instruction, principal and director of special education. Ms. Ingalls also has experience working as a special education coordinator in Cherry Creek School District in Greenwood Village, Colo. and has held several other positions in both the private and public sectors.

"I am excited to be joining the Student Support Services team,” Ms. Ingalls said. “I look forward to the opportunity to work with the Thompson School District community to improve outcomes for students with disabilities."

Ms. Ingalls earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
