Thompson School District is pleased to announce that it has named Tammie Knauer as Bond Director. In her position, Ms. Knauer will direct the completion of district projects that are made possible by the November passage of the district’s $149 million bond election measure.
Ms. Knauer is currently serving as the Operations Manager for Heath Steel in Ft. Collins. She has also worked for a number of other Colorado school districts, including the role of project manager for St. Vrain Valley School District. Ms. Knauer also completed similar work for Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“I am excited to join the Operations and Facilities team here at Thompson School District,” she said. “I look forward to putting the bond dreams into motion and to help make all of these exciting projects a reality.”
Ms. Knauer earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University and also holds several certifications from related professional associations.
A copy of the district’s bond project timeline will be released soon, which will detail the schedule of bond work to be completed over the next five-plus years.
