Two TSD Schools Recognized for Exceptional Promising Practices in Family, School and Community Partnering
This month, several schools and districts throughout the State were recognized for their distinguished efforts in working with families for student learning. Known as "Promising Partnership Practices," the activities align with the National Standards for Family-School Partnerships, which was adopted in Colorado legislation in 2009.
Thompson School District was proud to be featured as part of the kick-off event of "Family and School Partnership in Education Month." A special congratulations also goes out to the Laurene Edmondson Elementary School and Monroe Elementary School communities, who were recognized this year by the Colorado Department of Education for their "Promising Practices in Family, School and Community Partnering."
