HPS Visitors and Volunteers

Dear HPS Families,

As we begin the 2019-2020 school year, this is a reminder that all individuals entering High Plains School are required to show a valid, government issued ID to the outside camera, prior to entry into our school. This includes, but not limited to volunteering, having lunch with your student(s), picking up and/or dropping students off during the school day and bringing in forgotten homework. Please see the TSD Safety & Security video for further details, Safety & Security at TSD

If you are volunteering anywhere within the school, with athletics or on a school sanctioned field trip, you must be registered with Thompson School District's VITAL program. It takes about 15 minutes to register and approximately one week to be cleared to volunteer so click here to complete the process.

Family members are invited to have lunch with their child(ren) at their designated lunch time. No adult or sibling lunches can be charged to your student's account, but you can bring food in from the outside. However, due to food allergies and sensitivities we ask that you do not share food with other students. Parents may sit on the patio with their child, and their child may invite two of their HPS student friends to join you. Please tell the lunch supervisor you are eating on the patio. Pets, other than certified service animals, should not be brought into the school.

We appreciate your help and cooperation with keeping our students and staff safe during the school day.

Thank you.
