Students coming to school under the influence of drugs or alcohol could face an immediate 10-day out-of-school suspension for their first offense. The second offense will result in a recommendation for a 45-day expulsion. Proof of completing a treatment program may allow the student to return before the 45 days have expired. Any student suspected of being under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol will be turned over to police for investigation prior to suspension and/or expulsion.
