• Dear Namaqua Families,

It is a great honor to serve as the principal at Namaqua Elementary.  It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers and students care for each other and strive to build such positive relationships. I love watching our Namaqua Wildcats grow both socially and academically!

Though originally from Iowa, I moved to Loveland while I was in high school and graduated from Loveland High School.  I began my educational career in Thornton, Colorado over 20 years ago as a fourth grade teacher. When my two daughters were young, I was a stay-at-home mom and completed my masters' degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I started in the Thompson School District in 2005 as a fifth grade teacher. I have also been an Academic Interventionist and Instructional Coach. In 2016, I completed my Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership and became a principal within our amazing district at Stansberry Elementary before coming to Namauqa in 2018.
