Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Kyle Cunningham

Kyle Cunningham is entering his final semester as a teacher candidate in the University of Northern Colorado’s Elementary Education program with an emphasis in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. He is honored and excited to take this next step in his academic journey at High Plains School as a student teacher. In 2014, Kyle moved from his hometown of Collineville, IL to Loveland with a desire to find a career path that would combine creativity, leadership, and service in his community. With support and guidance from his family, Kyle embarked on a new educational journey in the Winter of 2018, which is drawing to a conclusion with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to student-teach in his community at High Plains.

In the summer of 2015, Kyle married his wife Kassie in the backyard of their Loveland home surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family members, including their 3 dogs and 2 cats. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys creating music in his small home recording studio, traveling, and spending time with his wife and animals.

He is beyond excited to start this school year and get to know students and families within the positive learning environment that has been cultivated inside the halls and classrooms of High Plains School!
