Alia loves reading, traveling, singing, dancing, and putting puzzles together. She is known for her sense of adventure and humor, as well as her countless rewatches of Harry Potter. She especially enjoys walking her two dogs, Sammie and Kylo, with her fiancé, Garrett Schumacher, who she married at the end of this July!

For Alia, the teaching profession continues to be a source of joy and fulfillment in her life, and she cannot imagine herself doing anything else. She is beyond thrilled to become a Bison and join the herd!
