Molly is entering her eighth year of teaching, but this will be her first year teaching at High Plains K-8 School. She is looking forward to focusing on reading for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade this year. She loves reading and showing students that reading can be fun for everyone with the right book and discussion! Some of her favorite authors are Angie Thomas, Mitch Albom, William Shakespeare,Langston Hughes, and Sharon Creech. Molly lived in Denver, Colorado for 15 years, then she and her family moved to Longmont, Colorado. Where she graduated from Longmont High School in 2010. Then she attended college at the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in English education. When she isn't teaching, she enjoys doing yoga, walking her dog, Diesel, cuddling up with her cat, Karen and watching TV, or exploring Colorado with her fiancé, Devon. She is excited for the school year ahead and hopes to make it a great one for all her students. Go Bison!
