Valerie is a first year teacher who just graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with her bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in special education. Valerie is very excited to be joining the High Plains staff as the new Kindergarten teacher. Valerie has two daughters, eight and one, with her husband, Brady, and together they live in West Loveland alongside their dog, two cats, fish, and chickens. Val and her family spend a lot of their free time camping, fishing, paddle boarding, rock hunting in the rivers, playing games, and crafting. She looks forward to the school year as a Bison and building relationships with her students, their families, and the HPS staff. Together, let’s make it a year to remember!
