Thompson School District has a strong focus on achieving educational equity for EACH child.

Achieving equity means that we want EACH of our students to achieve proficiency in reading by third grade,

to ensure high levels of school attendance throughout their schooling,

and for EACH student to graduate from high school on time!

The Department of EDI supports TSD's Strategic Plan: Strive 2025 in all four areas:

Student Achievement, Inclusive and Supportive Culture, Human Talent, and Stewardship of Resources.

• Use student data to inform decision-making

• Promote welcoming and safe schools and TSD facilities

• Support inclusive and collaborative student, family, and community events and learning opportunities

• Provide professional growth opportunities for equity

• Enact the Educational Equity Policy
