Walt Clark Middle Schools Green Team is envolved in finding ways for our school to be more environmentally conscious through STEM. Students are asked to find ways to make our school better place by reducing our golbal footprint, and increasing our sustainability. 

Over the past 7 years the Green Team has; improved recycling school wide, completed energy audits and saved 1,000s of dollars in energy, won a grant to install solar panels at Walt Clark, planted trees in common areas, developed an outdoor classroom, maintains a greenhouse, devolving a composting program, helped build a butterfly sanctuary, won a energy saving competition for $20,000 for energy upgrades!

This is a voluntary club and years goals are yet to be determined by the students.

We generally meet Monday's from 3-4 PM in Mr. Millers Classroom.
