***Important online programming update for the 2022-2023 school year:

Thompson Connect Online was built as a remote instructional option in response to COVID-19 and was funded through federal relief dollars through the end of this school year. Remote instructional options in response to COVID-19 are no longer allowable as per the Colorado Department of Education.

    Kindergarten-3rd:

During the 2022-2023 School Year, the Thompson School District will not offer online programming for students in Kindergarten, First, Second, and Third Grade.

Anyone currently enrolled in online programming will be automatically enrolled back at their enrolled school for in-person learning for 2022-2023. If you’re interested in other choice enrollment options, please go to the choice enrollment page and complete the information required. You will receive more information about the return of Thompson School District devices prior to May 26.

Students in grades K-3 will have access to in-building learning and support in order to develop critical early social, emotional, and literacy foundations. Online options will be available for the student once they are in 4th grade.

    4th-12th:

We are extending our Thompson Online programming for students in grades 4-8. Our 9-12 programming will shift and change as well. Because of these changes, we are re-evaluating each online student’s enrollment and placement. The chart at the end of this letter will help you to understand the criteria moving forward.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Anyone currently enrolled in online programming will be automatically enrolled back to their in-person building for 2022-2023. If you would like your student to attend in-person school for 2022-2023, no action is required by you.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CONTINUING ONLINE PROGRAMMING and WILL BE IN GRADES 4-12 IN 2022-2023, ATTENTION AND DETAILED ACTION IS REQUIRED BY APRIL 22.

    The process includes:

    1. Reading THIS APPLICATION PROCESS.
    2. Viewing THIS CHART that compares online programming from this year and what is to come.
    3. Completing THIS ELIGIBILITY SURVEY (due April 22, 2022)
