Marci Schroeder is super excited to be a part of the herd at High Plains School. Marci will be starting her seventh year of teaching Kindergarten. This will be her second year teaching Kindergarten in Colorado. She had previously taught Kindergarten for five years in Alliance, NE.

 

Marci will be the Yearbook Club Sponsor, the 7th grade Assistant Volleyball coach and hopefully Coaching Middle School Girls Basketball this year as well. 

 

Marci attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where you received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education K-6 with a minor in Family Studies. While attending college, Marci taught Preschool for five years.

 

Marci is originally from Hastings, Nebraska. She is the youngest of 4 kids. She has 3 nephews and 2 nieces. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. 

 

Marci loves being outdoors. She enjoys going camping at the lake, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and deer hunting. She also enjoys drawing and painting.  

 

Marci's class motto is Embracing the differences. She encourages all students to accept one another's differences from the beginning in order to create and establish a positively driven community of learners in her classroom. 

 

Marci is  excited for another year of working with all of our Bison Families.
