Mrs. Smith

Hi! My name is Melanie Smith and I am the 7th and 8th grade counselor at ConBall this year. This is my twelfth year as a school counselor and my fifth year at ConBall. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and a masters degree in School Counseling, both from California State University, San Bernardino. I am originally from the Southern California mountains and have lived in Colorado for eleven years. Fun fact - I spent a few years on a race team at the ski resort near my home in CA, but have never skied in CO!  I love to read, hike, snowshoe, kayak, travel, scrapbook, do yoga, and hang out with family and friends.

I love being a school counselor because I believe in every student's ability to reach their potential - academically, socially, and personally. Helping them to navigate the middle school years and move through barriers can be challenging but rewarding.

Ms. Lynch

I’m Jessica Lynch, your school psychologist at Conball! This is my second year at CBMS and I am thrilled to be returning as a T-Bird. A little bit about me: I graduated with my M.A. and my Ed.S in School Psychology from New Mexico State University and as an undergraduate, I played basketball at Bucknell University and the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. My job as a school psychologist is to support students’ unique behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs and ensure equity and access for each student. Above all else, my job is to make sure students feel valued, important, and respected. When I’m not working, I love to read, write poetry, kickbox, and enjoy the great outdoors.
