Check out the LHS November Newsletter

Seniors, we are still missing several portraits for the yearbook. Please check outside of Mrs. Sylva's room (C-59), or on the board next to the info booth for the list of people who have not yet submitted an image.

Congratulations to Mia Fleischer, Will Fritz, Seth Menard, Kaylee Johnson, and Hunter Martin for qualifying to compete at the JROTC Colorado State Air Rifle Championships at Fountain High School this Saturday, November 18!  The team is currently 5-1 in the National Air Rifle League and is ranked #16 in the nation in the Sporter Distinguished Division.

MESA club will have its next meeting on Wednesday, November 20, immediately after school in room 115. See you there!

Starting today through November 21, NHS will be selling ThanksgivingGrams during lunch in the cafeteria. Pay just $2 to have a thank you note and a mini pie delivered to someone here at Loveland High. When you purchase a ThanksgivingGram, you can also vote on giving all the proceeds to the National Art Honor Society, Key Club, or the IDEA Program.

Attention all students and staff, November 18-22 is the annual Canned Food Drive! All donations are being given to food-insecure community members for the holidays. Drop off your cans at the Student Council table in the cafeteria before or after school to get free candy and the chance to win free gift cards.  If you have questions, feel free to ask any Student Council representative!

Are you interested in being involved in tech for the spring musical, Les Mis? Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, November 19, at lunch in the choir room. Learn about tech opportunities, and sign up to be a part of our team. We need help with lighting, hair and makeup, costuming, and so much more! See Ms. Steketee for more information.

Do you like to dance, compete, and throw things in the air? The LHS Winterguards are looking for new members.  No experience needed!  Try-it clinics will be 4:30 - 6:30 pm on November 19, 21, and 26 in the LHS cafeteria. Show up and bring friends! If you have any questions, see Mr. Freesen in the band room.

The LHS Jazz Ensembles are looking for students to perform on trumpet, trombone, saxophone, percussion, guitar, bass, and piano. The jazz bands meet after school two days a week and you get class credit! See Mr. Freesen in the band room for more information.

That’s going to do it for today!  If you have any announcements, please email us at lhsannouncement@gmail.com.
