• TMS Welcomes Our New 2018-2019 Staff

Lindsy Brown (8th grade Literacy): I am a first-year, 8th-grade literacy teacher. I recently graduated from Colorado State University. Before moving to Colorado five years ago, I lived in Florida. I enjoy reading and hiking with my dog, Mac, in my free time.

Mason Gatewood (7th grade Literacy): My husband and I are from Lubbock, Texas and we moved to Loveland so my husband could attend graduate school. We will be married for one year in November and love to do anything outdoors, especially hiking. In Texas, I taught 6th grade ELAR/ SS and loved every minute. I am excited for this school year, and the opportunity I have to grow and empower my students.

Tia Thompson (8th grade math): Hey Y'all. My name is Tia Thompson and I teach 8th grade math. I have taught for the past 10 years in various grades from 6th to 10th. I love math and hoping to spread the joy of math to my students. I have a bachelors degree in mathematics and a masters degree in educational leadership and policy reform. My husband and I moved to Fort Collins last July from Dallas, TX. As many nomads, we fell in love with Colorado and wanted the trip to last forever; so we moved. Please feel free to visit my website for more details of lessons and important dates.

Sarah Betsch (Reading/Writing Learning Center): I was born and raised in Conifer, Colorado, until I graduated high school and moved to Greeley, where I attended the University of Northern Colorado. I love anything outdoors (hiking, running, softball/baseball, ski-ing, etc.) I enjoy going to coffee shops and spending time with friends. I am highly involved in my local church community. I love to travel and have spent 3 out of the last 4 summers overseas! I am excited to be part of the TMS family!

Marissa Mascio (Math Learning Center): I was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona where I attended Grand Canyon University, studying Elementary and Special Education. I love being outdoors where I can hike, ski and go to the lake. I also always enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am very excited to be a part of the TMS family!

Alex Knueven (8th grade Science Student Teacher): I graduated from the University of Dayton in Ohio, majoring in Biology. I enjoy spending my time outside, shooting photos, hiking, camping, and listening to music. Before moving to Colorado I lived in Florida and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, so I do also enjoy the beach and rooting for my hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers!
