Ms. Danielle Burton
Ms. Burton is the School Counselor at High Plains, and has been here since the inaugural year! She graduated from the Counseling and Career Development program at Colorado State University with her Master’s in Education, and received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, also from Colorado State. In the last few years, Ms. Burton has worked with diverse groups of students of all ages and developmental abilities. Her main goal is to support students in their social, emotional, academic, and career development, and to be a helpful resource and collaborator to students, families, and school staff. Ms. Burton enjoys spending time with her fiance, Tyler, and her two fluffy cats, Neville and Link. She enjoys the arts, and loves to camp, ski, read, craft, and explore our beautiful state!
