Ms. Alexandra Coenraad

Alexandra is excited to begin her 18th year of teaching in the Thompson School District, and especially looking forward to working with the third graders this year! Growing up in Loveland, Alex always knew she would return to the district that helped develop her love of learning and teaching. She looks forward to sharing her passion and love for learning with all her students.

Alex received her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and English as a Second Language from the University of Northern Colorado. She also has a Masters of Education in Linguistically Diverse Education from Grand Canyon University. She began her career teaching K-5 English as a Second Language, before transitioning to the classroom teaching first and second grade.

Alex loves to laugh AND make people laugh! When not teaching, Alex enjoys paddle boarding, reading, and riding her cruiser bike. She loves spending time with her family and close friends.
