The Cottonwood Science Fair is for kindergarten through fifth grades. Science fair projects allow students to practice scientific thinking and problem-solving, improvise when a procedure doesn't work out as predicted, present science findings to others, and constructively critique each other's work. The Science Fair sharpens students' skills in communicating the science process and content. Projects can be individual or in a group, but most of the work is done at home.
Please contact Mrs. Shumaker, the Cottonwood Science fair coach with any questions. Ms. Lafond sponsors the Science Fair Club.
Science Club meets Wednesday Afternoons from 3:45 pm - 4:30 pm. in Ms. Lafond's room.
