Summer Programs for Middle and High School Students
The following options are available for students needing or wanting to take summer classes:

Summer Academy of Music
One-hour classes for incoming 6th grade students interested in beginning band or orchestra; current middle school band or orchestra students; and high school orchestra students. Classes are held at two locations, Thompson Valley High School and Conrad Ball Middle School. Times will be 7:45 am - 12 noon (depending on which instrument you will be playing).
English Language Development
Language development is a continuous process that requires daily practice. The English Language Development summer school will provide English instruction, practice, and interaction with peers during four weeks of the summer to prepare students for the 2019-2020 school year. This program is available by invitation only.
Location: Monroe Elementary School (1500 Monroe Avenue)
Times: 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Food: Breakfast (8:00-8:30) and Lunch (11:30-12:00) provided
Robotics Summer Camp
Location: Loveland High School
Times: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
Dates: June 10-14
Food: Snacks and lemonade will be provided by the class but each student must bring their own lunch each day.
Elementary for current 4th and 5th-grade students. Work in small teams (2-3 members) to learn about the Vex Robotics system. Build, program and drive robots through a variety of different games and competitions with the guidance of a mentor.
Middle School for current 6th- 8th-grade students. Work on Arduino-based Robotics. Projects include building wireless and autonomous game-play activities. Students will work in small teams (2- 3 members) to design, build and program their Arduino based robots.
