Robotics meets every Thursday in the PC Lab 6-8 PMFLL LEGO Robotics is a great activity for budding engineers and computer programmers, as well as anyone who enjoys building with LEGOs. This activity is concentrated in the fall, with teams forming in the first few weeks of school and going to competition in November, with the state tournament held in December. Teams of five to ten participants build a robot, program it to accomplish several “missions,” as well as researching and making a presentation related to the theme for that year. The focus of the challenge is on creative problem solving and programming. No prior experience is required to participate (or to be a parent coach).
