Information Regarding Enrichment Programming Will Be Forthcoming
The Larimer County Department of Public Health and Environment has provided TSD with updated information regarding their recommendations for the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. As a result of the guidance, Thompson School District has come to the difficult decision to transition to remote-only education for all Pre-K through 12th-grade students through at least October 16th.

Ignite offers students an engaging day of hands-on learning that explores an array of STEM careers. Each camp is laced with a variety of opportunities to ignite curiosity, passion, and learning in every student.
Ignite camps have been developed to:
- Investigate Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
- Generate curiosity, ideas, and solutions
- Nurture innovation and invention
- Inspire students to expand their potential
- Transfer knowledge and skills to real-world challenges
- Exercise "Super Skills"
- Communication, Collaboration, Critical & Creative Thinking
Ignite provides busy parents with exciting, standards-aligned, extended learning opportunities for their children on select days when school is not in session.
Camps are conveniently located at district middle schools, run 9am-3pm, serve Grades K-5 and cost $60 per day.While Ignite camps run from 9-3, an extended day option is now available from 8-4. Students will be supervised in quiet activities during the extended time for an additional $5 per child.
