Mr. Rick Bowles, Principal - Riverview PK-8 School

My name is Rick Bowles and I am honored to be the principal of Riverview PK-8.  Over the past 21 months, I have been working with our community-based Design Advisory Group, Students, Parents, district leadership, FCI Construction, Wold Architects and other community members to design an amazing school for the Riverview community.  It has been exciting to see the progress of the building.   I will continue to post pictures of the progress so that you can see our new school take shape.

Riverview has been designed to be an amazing neighborhood school.   Although we have chosen to not have a focus (STEM, IB, Arts, etc), our school will incorporate many of the same principles and concepts within our instructional programming.  Our school has been designed to promote collaboration, innovation and flexibility.   We believe that students are more engaged in learning in an environment where they are excited to come to school, have fun, feel a sense of belonging, and are a part of something truly amazing.

We have recently been able to hire five core staff members to work together to help provide input as we plan for the opening in August 2021.   In addition, we will hire a large percentage of our staff in January.
