• Dress Code

        The responsibility for dress and grooming rests primarily with the student and his/her parents.  Clothes worn to school should always be clean and appropriate for a public place.

        If a staff member does observe any of the following prohibited dress, the student will be asked to call home for a change of clothes, turn the clothing inside out or wear a top (or bottom) provided by the Health Office.

        Examples of style of dress or unreasonable body exposure include (but not limited to) the following:

        short shorts (shorts should reach the second knuckle).
        tube tops                      
        spaghetti straps
        see-through blouses      
        half shirts
        clothes that create an inappropriate distraction
        exposed undergarments
        clothes that advocate or advertise drugs, alcohol or
        tobacco products
        logos having inappropriate or vulgar language
        hats, caps and bandanas are not to be worn in the school
        building. 
        no gang clothing or paraphernalia
        no "sagging"
        no pajamas or slippers
