Centennial uses best teaching practices and has set high expectations for staff and students. Centennial believes each child can be successful and, therefore, staff do whatever it takes for students to succeed. Centennial has been the recipient of the District School of Distinction for accreditation status and the recipient of the Colorado Governor’s Distinguished Improvement Award in 2017 and 2018.

Special Offerings

Universally, Centennial utilizes Restorative Practices and Critical Thinking; multi-age, differentiated learning opportunities in literacy and math; strong grade-level team collaboration that reviews student data monthly to determine progress and makes curricular and social/emotional adjustments as needed in all levels and for all abilities.

Accomplishments, Awards, and Partnerships

City of Loveland and Poudre Valley Health System partnerships with Safe Routes to School and wellness activities; Citizenship Awards from Optimists; School of Distinction; Orchards Church (neighbor) partnership in community activities and student mentoring; Community Outdoor Classroom Garden in the works; Rotary.
