Mrs. Clegern

Welcome, Ivy Kindergarten Families!

My name is Sarah Clegern, and I am thrilled to have been a part of the Ivy family for the past nine years.  I am looking forward to meeting your family and jumping into the adventure of beginning your child's school experience alongside you.  Our classroom will be colorful, cheerful, active, and fun!  I will value your communication, participation, and support during the upcoming year.  Together, we will work to create the best possible kindergarten experience for your son or daughter.
My family and I moved to Loveland after my husband retired from the United States Air Force.   I have taught kindergarten for the majority of my 30 years as an educator.  My passion is helping young children to feel loved and successful in their first year of "big kid" school.  I feel strongly that providing kids with a positive start in their school careers is both an awesome responsibility and an amazing privilege.  If you consider my family-  three nearly-grown, active sons in high school, college, and early adulthood, two crazy dogs, two cats,  two goldfish, a tank of freshwater fish, an axolotl, and a corn snake who all contribute along with community commitments to keep my husband and I running- you will understand why the cheerful chaos of kindergarten feels like home to me. :-)
If there is anything that I can do to help your family begin to settle in to Ivy, please feel free to contact me.  I look forward to getting to know your family very soon.  Kindergarten is always an adventure and this year will be even more so...but together, we can build an outstanding year!

Warm Regards,
Sarah Clegern
