Effective July 1, 2020, Triad Employee Assistance Plan was made available to Thompson School District employees and their dependents at no additional cost to employees or dependents. To be eligible, the employee must be enrolled in the district's life insurance. All eligible employees are enrolled in life insurance if their FTE is 50 percent or more.
The benefits are for eligible employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and dependents 26 and under and can access six counseling sessions per year, per incident with a choice of in-person or telehealth counseling options. Benefits include information, consultation and referrals to community resources for a variety of concerns, including but not limited to: coping with depression, calming anxiety, stress management, enhancing relationships, balancing work and home life, grief/trauma/loss, addictions, legal and more.
To get started you will need pre-authorization for counseling services. Visit www.triadeap.com, enter your username and password (found below). Select the “Provider Search” box to discover counselors in your area. Once you have chosen a counselor, call Triad between 8 am and 6 pm (MST) Monday through Friday.
