In this class, students find and learn more about themselves. They investigate their strengths and interests throughout the quarter and by the end can create a project that shows who they are as a person. Students also work in a group of three to five people to complete a communitiy service project. For example, a group this quarter orgainzed an animal supply drive at the school for the Longmont Humane Society. 

Other Group and Individual Projects Include:

Making blankets for the Linus Project, helping preschoolers, spending time with geriatrics, making baby hats, entering contests, volunteering at the Berthoud Elementary field day & organizing a flag football tournament for 7th graders during their lunch.

Throughout this Core X, students have made a difference by helping the less fortunate and making lunch recess and school a little more fun for other students.
