Ms. Robinson

Hello! My name is Ms. Courtney Robinson and I am the new Librarian at Ivy Stockwell Elementary! I’m a native Floridian from the Tampa Bay area. (Yes I’ve been to Disney World, No I didn’t ride Alligators to school, and Yes I have met a mermaid!)  I have two BA’s in History and Art History from the University of South Florida and a MA in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies from Florida State University. I moved to Colorado in May 2019 and have worked and volunteered in a variety of museums in Visitor Services, Collections Management, and Educational roles. 

I have a passion for reading (good thing I’m a Librarian!) travelling, and going to as many museums as I can.  When I’m not working, you can find me reading (mostly historical fiction and fantasy), baking all of the yummy things, cuddling my two comical dogs Jack and Tigger, and counting how many bottles of lotion I’ve bathed in since moving from the swamp to the desert (hint: it’s a lot)!

I am so excited to start sharing my favorite books and showing students how a library can help them explore the world! I look forward to meeting with all of the amazing children at Ivy Stockwell and inspiring them to discover a love for reading!
