  • Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of 7th gr. students

Our annual 7th gr. field trip to the Denver Zoo is quickly approaching.  In order to pull this off every year, we need a bunch of wonderful, helpful parent volunteers to join us.  The zoo has a strict 10:1 student to chaperone ratio, so we need to ask for help.  We will send out information for the field trip in the next couple of weeks, you will then be able to sign up to be a chaperone.

We wanted to let you know if you are interested in being a chaperone, it is REQUIRED that you are a registered volunteer in the Thompson School District.  If you are not currently registered, you will need to do so by the deadline on April 30th.

  • Eighth graders!

It's time to start planning for the transition to high school, and getting involved can be one of the best parts of your high school years.

Current 8th graders and their parents are invited to attend LHS Activities Night on Wednesday, April 26th, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet advisers and members of different clubs available at LHS, as well as meet the coaches of our athletic teams. Dozens of organizations and sports teams will have tables set up in the gym and will be on hand to provide our incoming freshmen and their parents with information about the different extracurricular activities LHS has to offer.

Food will be provided at the beginning of the night. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to learn about all the fun things you can do at LHS to help make your high school years memorable ones!
