Tech Lab

Hello! I am the Tech Lab teacher at Ivy Stockwell. I have taught for many years at Ivy and enjoy teaching your children.

I love to incorporate technology into my lessons. Teaching students important life skills like keyboarding, Computer Science activities, and having fun with robots are some of my favorites.

Technology Lab

Enter quietly, sit in your assigned seat, put your hands in your lap and be ready to listen.
Take your hands off the keyboard or mouse when the teacher is speaking.

  • Raise your hand to speak.
  • Do not touch the Chromebook/iPad until you have instructions.
  • Listen carefully and follow directions.
  • Do not personalize the Chromebook/iPad in the following way: changing the desktop background.
  • Changing the video and audio settings.
  • Adding, changing, or moving icons on the desktop.
  • Be gentle with your Chromebook/iPad. Do not bang on the keyboard.
  • Treat equipment with respect.
  • Keep it clean.
  • Do not touch your neighbor’s device.
  • As a courtesy to the next class, please leave your lab as you found it.
  • Close your tabs or apps. Stand up and push your chair in. That shows me you are ready to line up.

Throughout the year I will reinforce and repeat the rules and proper care of the Chromebooks/iPads.
