Reports to the Public

Annual reports are disseminated by each school to its public, and by each district to the community on progress toward local and state goals as well as action plans for the next school year. The results are used to monitor student growth, make instructional decisions, evaluate programs and provide accountability. The Assessment Office is responsible for the administration of the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP). The district's annual report and the achievement reports for elementary, middle and high schools are also produced by the Assessment Office.

Accreditation of Individual Schools

The Colorado State Board of Education has established an agreement with our school district that binds us to manage the accreditation of our schools. The Thompson School District accreditation, accountability, and school effectiveness/improvement process affirms the district's commitment to high standards of achievement and well-being for all students. Student Achievement Services has designed our process of accreditation to conform to statutory accreditation requirements, to incorporate the accountability processes and requirements, and most importantly, to enhance and encourage continuous school improvement that results in improved student achievement as defined by our strategic plan. The accreditation process promotes high standards for academic achievement for all students through enhanced supervision of our schools.
